I've been having knee pain for 6 months and it just isn't getting any better. I need to schedule an appointment with Dr. Gayden. How long will it take to get an appointment?
We make every effort to get patients in as soon as possible. We can typically schedule a new patient within a few days of calling our office. Our phone number is 972.831.8000. Shela will answer the phone and will be happy to help you with any appointments or questions you might have.
I have Blue Cross insurance. Does Dr. Gayden take that insurance?
Yes, and we have a list of insurances that we accept under “insurances” on our web site. If you do not see yours, or have questions, please call us because these insurances often change and can be confusing. We will be happy to help you out.
I need to have my shoulder looked at by a doctor, but I am nervous about having surgery. Is surgery usually recommended for this type of problem?
Dr. Gayden will thoroughly exam your shoulder (or any other body part that needs an orthopedic exam) and give you his best medical opinion. Most of his patients never require surgical intervention and may improve just fine with conservative treatment such as medications, physical therapy, splinting, braces, or other conservative measures. If surgery is the best option, he will explain this in detail and give you as much information about the process, recovery, and answer any other questions you might have. You are always welcome to call our office with questions, or to make an appointment for an evaluation.
